THE JOB

As the Health & Wellness Coordinator, you will work with individuals supported by Mattingly Edge and their support teams to establish and implement optimal health and wellness goals at home and in the community (with the guidance of qualified medical professionals as needed). You will work closely with each network's Network Facilitator and report to the Director of Service Innovation.

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED.

  • A minimum one year experience supporting someone with a disability who experiences medical challenges.

  • Ability/willingness and aptitude to work with persons who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

  • Physical ability to perform functions of lifting, transferring, feeding, positioning, etc.

  • Proficiency in teaching and instruction.

  • Comfortable with daily use of technology, as well as comfortable with potential changes in technology. Basic language, written, and computer (Word, Excel, internet, Google apps) skills necessary for communication and documentation.

  • Flexibility to adapt work schedule according to the needs of the people being supported, including the willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
