Mattingly Edge, a nonprofit working to empower citizens with disabilities, is hosting a unique, adult-centered night of tunes, art, and games.
This one-of-a-kind event will include a live music performance by local synth-pop band The Pass, Karaoke Roulette by Howell Dawdy, games such as Giant Jenga, Cornhole, and Kubb, a silent auction, a cash bar, food by Yafa Cafe, and urban artists Casey McKinney and Jacob Duncan demonstrating their craft live while inviting attendees to take part and “tag” their own communal work of art.
Mattingly Edge takes an original approach to how society partners with adults who have developmental and intellectual disabilities. We believe that every person has something positive to contribute, and those we work with in our programs are given the tools and support everyone needs to grow his or her own talents and skills and, ultimately, become part of our communities rather than being set a part.
This November Louisville and Southern Indiana residents can take part in our mission by simply joining us for a night of fun and games. Tunes, Art, and Games (TAG) is a benefit party for Mattingly Edge.
When: Saturday, November 11
Time: 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Where: Tim Faulkner Gallery 1512 Portland Avenue, 40203
